Science on Stage Georgia
Science on Stage Georgia aims to encourage and motivate Georgian teachers from all regions over the country to collaborate, to share ideas and present their projects on stage, to discuss the new approaches for STEM teaching for improving their own practice. Science on Stage Georgia will promote the teachers’ professional development through cooperation on national and international level.
Every two years, Science on Stage Georgia will organise the national event for Georgian teachers. The festival will aim at supporting STEM teachers to present their best practice examples on national level. The best projects will be elected for participation in the European Science on Stage festivals.
Science on Stage Georgia will organise national conferences, workshops and teacher trainings. The materials from these events will be available online for all Georgian teachers in national language.
Georgia is a member of Science on Stage since November 2016. Science Education Research Centre SALiS at Ilia State University will be the official organiser of all events of Science on Stage in Georgia. The national steering committee will support all activities of Science on Stage in Georgia.
