Workshop: Fostering STEM and SDGs
On the 30th of April, we organized the “Fostering STEM and SDGs” workshop in Tirana with a group of students from North Macedonia and the Science on Stage North Macedonia coordinator Ramadan Aliti. Having North Macedonia who recently joined Science on Stage visit us, we found this a great opportunity to give them a presentation on our experience with Science on Stage and how they can benefit the most from this wonderful platform. We shared some of our projects in the past, experiences and products from the Science on Stage Festival, and our focus on STEM and SDG in education. We also had Michael Gregory from SonS France share a presentation too and their experiences from which we can all benefit a lot. His focus was the Experiments Share World Tour which we find very interesting and useful for every science teacher. The event gathered over 40 participants, and it served as a great way to connect between Science on Stage coordinators and hopefully leave space for future collaborations too. We are positive and expect to have more such exchanges in the future, to learn from each other and continue to exchange experiences and ideas between more and more countries.
