Updates from Iceland
Here is an update from Science on Stage Iceland on what happened after the European festival last August, written by their main contact Ásdís Ingólfsdóttir:
Since we came home we have had one meeting and we have secured the domain name www.scienceonstage.is so we can start to post material there and share it with people here in Iceland. Of course, we will always refer to the "big" homepage. We have started to put out material about the festival and here is a link to representation that Sigurður Fjalar put together and is now on a webpage for teachers in information technology here in Iceland. https://open.substack.com/pub/sfjalar/p/science-on-stage?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android&r=z0axb (The website also includes films covering the festival).
I have sent an article to the Teacher´s Union of Iceland (www.ki.is ) and got a positive response, so they will cover the festival in the autumn issue. That will reach around 10.000 teachers in kindergarten, primary, secondary and upper secondary schools all around Iceland.
