For about twenty years in the Mirabilandia amusement park, near Ravenna (IT), educational activities have been carried out with schools in the project "A classroom without walls

There is a long relationship between the Mirabilandia Park and Science on Stage Italy: the “Matebilandia” project, developed at the park and presented by Lorenza Resta and Giovanni Pezzi at the Slubice Festival in 2013, received an award; Lorenza Resta then participated in the creation of the “iStage2” booklet, with experiments carried out in Mirabilandia with smartphones.

Every year a conference for teachers is held in the park, entitled "Tools and methodologies for teaching innovation". Hundreds of teachers of all levels are participating in the conference. In 2014, the “iStage2” booklet was presented at the Conference and the “Smartphones and amusement parks” competition was launched in the context of Science on Stage Europe; Jean Luc Richter also participated in the launch of the competition in Mirabilandia and the competition closed at the London Festival in 2015.

At this year's conference, the 19th, with around 300 participating teachers (teachers of all school levels, from elementary to high school), after the usual presentation of Science on Stage activities, Anna Maria Lisotti and Teresa Cecchi took to the stage, to present their projects that won the selection at the national festival in Naples and will be brought to Turku next year: “Tangible Statistics“, “Animated chromatography“.
