Presentation of Science on Stage teaching materials to teachers in Latvia

On March 15, during the students' spring break, the teachers' conference "Salaspils Methodological Ideas Exchange 2023" was held in Salaspils. The teachers from several municipalities- Mārupe, Salaspils, Ķekava, and Olaine and representing all stages of education - preschool, primary, and secondary education presented various methodological materials, ideas and projects. 46 different project ideas related to science and technology teaching were presented at the conference. Over 100 teachers and education management representatives from the National Centre for Education of Latvia attended the event.

In "From simulation to practical work in a company", Science on Stage Latvia expert Daiga Krieviņa from Marupe presented her ideas on how to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application acquired in physics in grades 8-12. 

During the conference, the teachers were invited to participate in national “Science on Stage” festival and were introduced to competition regulations.

The conference also included the presentation of two teaching materials: “Lantern Moon and Hot Ears” and "Lilu's house" which are available to teachers in the Latvian language.
