The Italian Science on Stage festival - part 1
Science on Stage Italy has decided to extend its festival to several days in April, May and September. On 16 and 17 April, the first part of the festival took place virtually at the Palestra della Scienza in Faenza.
The day began with exciting news: Giovanni Pezzi, coordinator of Science on Stage Italy, opened the festival and announced the 32 teachersn who will present their projects from 10 to 12 September in Faenza in the final part of the festival. Out of these participants Science on Stage Italy will select 11 delegates for the upcoming European festival in Prague.
This was followed by a round table, coordinated by the science journalist Paolo Magliocco about sustainability and the circular economy. Representatives of research institutions and local companies took part.
You can find the recording here (in Italian).
On 17 April, Paolo Magliocco coordinated another virtual round table - this time about distance learning. Teachers and school managers took part and exchanged their experiences.
The recording of this round table can be found here (in Italian).
In the next weeks Science on Stage Italy will hold two more webinars. Hopefully then in September the festival can be held in person!
