Isabel Borges selected for international teacher liaison 2023
Congratulations to our dedicated teacher Isabel Borges on being selected as one of five international teachers to join the Space Foundation's International Teacher Liaisons 'Flight 23' in 2023.
The International Teacher Liaisons exists since 2004 and has been successfully influencing the teaching of science and space around the world ever since. Each year, new teachers who have made a special commitment to space-related STEM education are selected for the program. Applicants go through an elaborate application process and are finally selected by a panel of experienced Teacher Liaisons and representatives from the space industry as well as the military. With her selection, Isabel joins a global network of over 300 educators from 18 different countries. She and the other selected teachers from "Flight 23" will now receive curriculum resources, various other professional development courses and will further be present at the annual Space Symposium in April in Colorado Springs, USA.
We cannot wait to see the great thing Isabel will achieve for STEM education in her new role. Congratulations, Isabel!
