Impressions from Climademy in Finland

Anastasia Papakonstantinou, Konstantinos Chalkiadakis and Astrinos Tsoutsoudakis, members of the Greek delegation in the 2024 European Science on Stage festival held in Turku, Finland last August, are now presenting their teaching units and other materials in the context of The CLIMAte change teachers’ acaDEMY (CLIMADEMY) Conference. It is being held in collaboration with the Teachers’ Climate Change Forum (TCCF) from March 31 to April 3, 2025, at Hyytiälä Forest Station in Finland. This event, hosted by the CLIMADEMY consortium in partnership with the LUMA Centre, is a unique opportunity for teachers, educators, and researchers dedicated to climate education.

The CLIMADEMY Conference and TCCF 2025 aim to bring together educational professionals and researchers who are passionate about climate science and sustainability in education. This four-day event is featuring workshops, interactive sessions, keynote speakers, and research presentations focused on the co-development of key competencies to effectively teach climate change in schools and communities.
