Exploring the Future: Quantum Computing Workshop
In December, one of the participants in the project "Quantum Computing in STEM Education" hosted an exciting workshop in Serbia on quantum computing for a group of 15 enthusiastic 17-year-old students. The session aimed to introduce them to the fascinating world of quantum computers, covering their creation, functionality, and potential applications.
The workshop was designed to be interactive and engaging, featuring a variety of activities. Students participated in hands-on exercises, watched informative videos, engaged in lively discussions, and tested their knowledge through quizzes. These activities provided a comprehensive overview of quantum computing, helping students grasp the basics of this powerful technology.
By the end of the workshop, students had a solid understanding of how quantum computers work and their potential to revolutionize various fields. It was a day filled with learning, curiosity, and inspiration, leaving everyone eager to explore more about the future of computing.
The project "Quantum Computing in STEM Education" is organised by Science on Stage Germany and supported by the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation.
