Deadlines for national selection events are approaching
This year, all member countries of Science on Stage Europe are organising national selection events to choose the countries' delegations for the next European Science on Stage Festival 2024 in Turku, Finland. There are two ways for these selection events to take place. Countries can organise a national festival lasting one or more days, where teachers present their projects and an expert jury decides which projects will go to Turku. A second option is an online-only process where STEM teachers submit their project ideas for the classroom online and a jury makes a selection for Turku based on these submissions. Whichever way the countries choose, a deadline for the submission of project ideas has been set for all procedures.
And while STEM teachers in countries like Sweden or Finland still have until November to submit their innovative project ideas, for teachers in countries such as Latvia, Romania or Ireland the application deadline is fast approaching. In some countries of the network, such as Italy or Germany, the application phase has already ended.
We invite all STEM teachers who are interested in participating in a national or in the European festival to consult our overview page on the national selection events to find out about the procedure in their country. If you do not find your own country on this page or if there is no further information available, you can simply get in touch with the contact person in your country directly.
The overview of all member countries and the corresponding contacts can be found here.
