Biovalley Life Science Symposium 2023
On the first of April, the Biovalley Life Science Symposium co-organised by Science on Stage Switzerland will once again take place at the Kantonsschule in Wettingen, Switzerland. The aim of the event is to enrich biology lessons at the secondary level with experiments, new working techniques, and up-to-date specialist knowledge.
The symposium will offer the participating biology teachers two specialist lectures as well as two workshops. Both of the workshops on offer will feature projects that were also part of the European Science on Stage Festival in Prague in 2022:
"The Good, the Bad and the Complex" presented by Declan Cathcart (Science on Stage Ireland) and "To bee or not to bee" presented by Thomi Scheuber (Science on Stage Switzerland).
In addition to the lectures and workshops, there will also be an exchange forum for the teachers where new ideas, equipment and literature can be discussed at stands.
Participation in the event is free of charge. Registration for the symposium is still possible until 21 March 2023. You can sign up for the event on the website of Science on Stage Switzerland.
