EGU General Assembly 2023

Between 23 and 28 April, the EGU General Assembly (EGU = European Geosciences Union) took place in Vienna, Austria. This event regularly brings together geoscientists from all over the world to exchange information about their work over five days. As part of the event, Science on Stage also had the opportunity to present the new SDG materials and further work in the field of "sustainability".

European conference "Schools go green and digital - and Erasmus+ supports teaching excellence!

The conference, organised by the German National Agency Erasmus+ School Education, invited participants from Germany and other countries where Erasmus programs take place to a three-day exchange in Bonn. The main focus was on the challenges that climate change and the ever-evolving digitalisation pose for schools and how these challenges can be met in the future.  Christian Karus, Ambassador of Science on Stage Germany, was present at the event.

Educating the Educators

For the fourth time, the conference "Educating the Educators" took place on 11 and 12 May, this time in Leiden in the Netherlands. Under the motto "Stem & open schooling for sustainable education", the conference focused on STEM education and invited hundreds of participants from all over Europe to discuss the future of this field. Science on Stage was also present at this event to showcase the network's work in the field of sustainability, in line with the conference theme.
