Annual school conference in Latvia

On June 2 the participant of the 2022 European Science on Stage festival in Prague, Svetlana Rudjko, shared her experience and presented the ideas she found interesting and suitable for Latvian education at the annual school conference. The aim of the conference was to share experiences on various themes.

More than 120 teachers attended the conference and learned about the work of Science on Stage and its main activities. The teachers were also introduced to the call for the national competition. During the conference, the teachers also discussed such themes as modeling in biology lessons, how to make biology lessons more creative, and how to carry out research work and develop critical thinking in research work.

They were also introduced to the teaching material that are available thanks to European teachers and which are also available in Latvian.
