Science on Stage Georgia present their projects at a picnic

Iliauni Science Picnic is an outdoor event in Georgia to promote science in the country. Main organizer of this event is Ilia State University. The 9th Science Picnic was held on 1 October and more than 15000 visitors attended the event this year.

The theme of this year's Science Picnic was the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, focusing on education. Public and private educational and scientific institutions, non-governmental, state and private organizations participated in this event in more than 30 tents. 

Science on Stage Georgia and its official organiser Science Education Research Centre SALiS were also present. In their tent teachers, participants of past festivals presented different teaching projects to a wider audience.
