Congratulations Sharon!

Congratulations to Sharon Durant who led the Science on Stage choir at the European Science on Stage festival 2019 in Cascais.

This week as part of Queen Elizabeth’s platinum jubilee celebrations Sharon was awarded the OBE, (Order of the British Empire Medal) for her services to music and the community.  

Sharon works as part-time teacher in schools and leader of several choirs in North East England.
